Al introducir el enfoque estructuralista en las ciencias sociales, fue de hecho el fundador de la antropolog\u00eda estructural, m\u00e9todo basado en la ling\u00fc\u00edstica hom\u00f3nima creada por Saussure y desarrollada por el formalismo ruso.
